ROC Association (Membership)
The Association was formed in 1986 to bring together former members of the Royal Observer Corps to;

1) Maintain and promote the esprit-de-corps and comradeship among Corps members, to keep them in touch with each other and with the activities of the Royal Observer Corps groups.

2) Promote social and other activities for the benefit of all members

3) To assist former members of the ROC and their dependents who are in need, to obtain assistance from the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund or any other appropriate source of assistance

4) To provide support as may be appropriate to the re-establishment of the ROC as an active volunteer organisation serving the country in whatever role may be appropriate. To represent the interests of the ROC Association in dealing with other national organisations.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

FULL MEMBERSHIP: is open to all past serving members of the Corps.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: is open to the families of past serving ROC members of the Corps OR anyone sympathetic to preserving the history and heritage of the Royal Observer Corps and Association.

RAF Benevolent Fund (encompassing the Royal Observer Corps)
The Royal Observer Corps Benevolent Fund is now managed by the RAF Benevolent Fund. The RAF Benevolent Fund provides support for former and serving members of the RAF, their partners and dependent children (under 18). We also support Reservists, those who completed National Service and widows and widowers and former members of the Royal Observer Corps
