ROCA HERITAGE

Preserved Posts & Other ROC Museums & Collections

Within the United Kingdom, there are many museums, displays and collections that may be visited to learn more of the Royal Observer Corps, its history and heritage. The following pages contain lists of such sites which may be visited. It is recommended that the website of sites (if available) is accessed for up-to-date information relating to opening hours, access arrangements and access charges. New sites should be submitted via the contacts page.

PLEASE NOTE:

TO ALL POST RESTORERS

The Heritage Team has been made aware of targeted attempted and actual break-ins of former ROC monitoring posts. In order to preserve against loss of items relating to the heritage of the Corps and / or personal items, it is advised that items are not kept within the posts when the site is unattended.
